The property is a fairly new and well presented townhouse. But beware - once moving in you'll find the place is so cheaply made and corners have been cut everywhere.

For starters there is absolutely no insulation or verandahs, and there are massive windows to let the elements in. Freezing cold in winter and blazing hot in summer. Expect outrageous energy bills since the ducted heating/cooling system (which cannot cope with the total lack of insulation) has to be on pretty much 24/7 to keep the place inhabitable. You can also hear every footstep and word spoken from anywhere in the house due to the cheap/poor construction.

The owners/agent are also unwilling to do anything maintenance-wise. The bathroom door is so badly warped from water damage it can't be shut, which we didn't realise until moving in. There is also a massive tree that hangs over the house (two storey) and branches bang and slide on the roof when it's windy causing a huge noise, really great in the middle of the night. There was a slight gas leak under the cook-top when we first moved in which was the only maintenance they ever attended to (despite several requests for the other issues) The blinds are horrid and let any heat/light in. The rent is far too high for what the property value is.

There is nowhere to park except one spot for a three bedroom house.

Won't be renewing the lease here and would not recommend moving in here unless it's your last resort.
